This policy explains what personal information the Quill Centre website collects, why, who handles it, and how to reach us about it. It covers this website only. Quill Centre (“we”) is responsible for personal information collected through it.
Browsing the website
You can browse this website without giving us any personal information.
- No tracking. The website does not use analytics, advertising, or social media trackers, and it does not set cookies of its own.
- Hosting. The website is delivered and protected by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested, so that it can deliver the page and block attacks. Cloudflare handles this information under the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Links to other sites. Store websites and “Get Directions” (Google Maps) open other websites, and their privacy policies apply there. Nothing from those sites is loaded until you follow the link.
Contact form
The contact form on the leasing page asks for your name, email address, inquiry type, and message, and optionally your phone number. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and to follow up on it.
- Bot check. When the form is available, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it is being used by a person. Turnstile collects information about your browser and device, and when you send the form, your IP address is passed to Cloudflare with the check. Cloudflare uses this information to tell people from automated programs.
- Delivery. Your inquiry is sent by email through Cloudflare to info@quillcentre.com, and our email forwarding provider, ImprovMX, passes it on to the mailbox where we read it. The website itself does not keep a copy. When an inquiry cannot be sent, the website records only the kind of problem, not what you wrote or your contact details.
- Who reads it. Inquiries are read by Quill Centre’s management. Leasing inquiries may be shared with Colliers, Quill Centre’s leasing agent, so that they can respond. We do not sell personal information or share it for marketing.
- How long we keep it. We keep inquiries only as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and then delete them.
You can contact us by phone or email instead of using the form.
Where information is processed
Cloudflare, ImprovMX, and our email provider may process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information processed in another country is subject to that country’s laws, and authorities there may be able to access it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our keeping it, subject to legal limits. Contact us as described below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
